Finding Abundance in Life

Learn more

Welcome

Has life become so challenging that you ask yourself, "Will it ever get easier?"

As we journey down the road of life, we will run into bumps, make wrong turns, and even get into wrecks. When that happens, we need guidance to get back to being our happiest, healthiest selves. Whether you’re dealing with stress from common life transitions (e.g., beginning a new career, facing a big move, etc.), losing the “spark” in your relationship, noticing a breakdown in communication with family members, or facing the psychological and biological comorbidity of chronic illness, I am here to help you navigate the road ahead.

As a board-certified marriage and family therapist (LMFT, LCMFT), I am a passionate, collaborative, and innovative clinician committed to driving positive mental health outcomes. I approach mental health from a trauma-informed,  biological, psychological, social, and spiritual lens. My clients gain insight into themselves, their relationships, and their behaviors while developing positive and enduring coping skills to navigate life's toughest challenges.

I am committed to walking right beside you to help you overcome adversity and build resilience so you can live abundantly.

About Me

Hailing from New England, I received my Master’s of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy from Antioch University, completed my Doctorate in Human Development with a Specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Virginia Tech, and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Integrated Behavioral Health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Prior to launching private practice, I held academic faculty positions within a family medicine residency program as Director of Behavioral Health and Clinical Assistant Professor. I remain active in academics as I currently hold a position of Adjunct Faculty at Arizona State University in the College of Health Solutions. From clinical work to research to policy to advocacy, I consistently leverage my passion and expertise to ensure equity and excellence in holistic, therapeutic care for clients.

To bring calm to my ever-evolving world, I am a CrossFit athlete and enjoy mentoring not only up-and-comers in the field but underserved youth through community philanthropy. Extracurriculars keep me busy but I most enjoy traveling the world and spending time with those I love most.
